Get Stronger

Staying active and looking after your body can help improve strength, breathing, and confidence. Activities like pulmonary rehabilitation, gentle exercise, singing, and eating well all support your ability to manage day to day.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary rehabilitation helps people with lung conditions improve strength, breathing, and confidence through supported exercise and education.

Exercise

Regular exercise can help reduce breathlessness, improve stamina, and make everyday activities feel more manageable.

We want to maintain the benefits gained from following the Pulmonary Rehabilitation course.

When & Where

NHS guidance suggests aiming for about 150 minutes of activity each week, which can be made up of shorter sessions during the week of different activities that suit you.

Sing

Singing can help improve breathing control while also boosting mood, confidence, and social connection.

Eat Well

Eating well supports energy levels, muscle strength, and overall health, which can make it easier to manage a lung condition.
